Fred Steffen, CEO
Fred Steffen has over 40 years of experience in the financial industry. His professional career began with UBS in Zurich, where he worked in different Financial Departments and Divisions.
After spending time abroad in New York and Los Angeles he worked as an equity fund manager for Swiss pension funds. After a short period with an independent asset manager, he spent 12 years as US Equity Research Sales with Merrill Lynch Capital Markets AG in Geneva and Zurich. In 2006 he founded Balius Asset Management AG to realize his own investment philosophy.
During his career he has completed the Swiss Federal Banking Diploma, the Series 7 Registration, and the CSC.
